A simple time dissolve to show the painting process and how it evolves.
"Mira" 16"x16" Acrylic on Canvas
Our very loved Calico cat that adopted us when we moved to the Sunshine Coast. She taught us so much about life and getting through the struggles of illness. We lost her in May of 2012 but her spirit will always be with us. "Baker" 16"x16" Acrylic on Canvas
Our much loved ginger tabby, Baker. We named him "Baker" since he loved to knead as if a baker kneading bread. Baker suddenly passed away in March 2011. A cat that loved to eat and leash walk, he was a large ginger tom but the gentlest cat in the world. "Museum Bear" 12"x12" Acylic on canvas
A portrait of the teddy bear from the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives. He is wearing clothes and knapsack made by Jessie Morrison, date unknown. The teddy bear won a prize at the PNE for it's clothes. The Bear was donated to the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives in 1992 along with other homemade toys and artwork by Ms. Morrison. |
